You can always count on My Morning Jacket to bring a GREAT opener on tour with them. A few years ago it was Neko Case. Last time it was Band of Horses. This year it was Jason Isbell. The timing of this show was fortuitous as well, as Isbell’s album Something More Than Free had just been released and was on its way to a Top 10 debut week. Isbell doesn’t exactly tear it up on stage performance-wise, but he and his band were a great table setter for the My Morning Jacket set to come.
