Andy Grammer in an up-and-coming singer/songwriter in the Jason Mraz vein and I got the chance to catch him perform a very energetic set a few weeks ago at Jammin Java. He was just announced as the opener for this summer’s Cobie Cailait and Gavin DeGraw tour, so I expect you’ll be hearing much more from him very soon.
Most shows at Jammin Java are seated, so I was surprised when i showed up just before showtime to see this was a standing room show. I was able to wedge my way up front (and was relieved when I picked the correct side of the stage) and fight off the screaming teenage girls for these shots.
