Yes, this was the gig where Justin Bieber threw a towel at me. He threw a little shit fit and I was the brunt. I was a little surprised at the time, but looking back on it, it’s quite funny. And no, I didn’t get the towel, another photog grabbed it before I could, so it’s not on eBay. At least not from my account.
Drama aside, this shoot was much more fun than the Verizon Center concert a few weeks prior. The main obstacle at this shoot (which was from the pit) were the other photos. They were mostly red carpet/step-and-repeat guys so they weren’t well versed in concert photography etiquette. I’ll just leave it at that.
