This was my first time seeing Ed Sheeran and I have to say I was impressed. His show is very no-frills. Just him and his guitar out on stage in front of thousands of people. And he pulls it off admirably.

SHOOTING NOTES: Ed has a pretty spartan stage set up.Just two mics and three or four monitors/boxes for him to stand on to make himself bigger for the crowd. He only climbed up there once during the first three, so be ready for that shot. If you position yourself in the middle of the stage, there’s a nice wide shot available between the two center monitors. Lights were good. My only complaint was he sings with his eyes closed a lot, so getting shots with his eyes open was a challenge. He stayed behind the mic for the first two but moved around a bit during the third song.
