I first caught Here We Go Magic a year ago opening for Grizzly Bear and absolutely fell in love with their brand of droney, folky funk-pop, so I was of course very excited to see them at Pitchfork. Sadly I was only able to stay a few songs, but I’ll get to see them in a few weeks when they play the Black cat here in D.C. I definitely recommend picking up either their self titled album or their new one, Pigeons.
Also, check out my interview with them for DCist last year.
