The Joy Formidable are such a fun band, it’s hard to pass up a chance to shoot them. So many bands these days just fucking stand there on stage, but not this Welsh trio. It’s all you can do to keep up with them! They are all over the place. Lead singer and guitarist Ritzy Bryan is certainly the attraction here (she has better guitar poses than most anyone) but don’t sleep on bassist Rhydian Davies or drummer Matthew Thomas. Stick with them a bit during the first three and they’ll give you what you need too.
