The annual Jingle Ball is always a fun but hectic night. 8-10 acts doing short sets with very little turn around time, plus red carpet duties. The star power was down this year from previous years – Nick Jonas skipped our date for some reason which meant there were a lot of YouTube phenoms in the lineup – but I did get to see Tove Lo for the third time this year so that’s a plus. She was her usual amazing self and Demi Lovato, who headlined, also put on a killer show. Weirdly, 5 Seconds of Summer were the first band on after headlining last year’s gig. Maybe there was a scheduling issue and they needed to leave town early? Always, all in all this was a very fun night and I’m looking forward to doing it all over again this year.
