This was easily one of the most fun shoots I’ve had this year. The crowd was SUPER amped, the band was just giddy onstage and I got to enjoy the biggest photo pit i’ve been in in recent memory. Lights were great and I got to take a boatload of photos of Jenny Lewis. What’s not to like?

This show honestly had an amazing vibe. Everyone knew the setlist, they were basically playing Give Up with three or four extra tracks (The Beat Happening cover was actually my favorite tune of the night, it sounded brilliant), so everyone just settled in an enjoyed themselves. Great band, great crowd, great vibe, great show.
