WASHINGTON, DC - February 27th 2013 - Jonathan Rado and Sam France of buzzing indie rock duo Foxygen perform at the Rock N Roll Hotel in Washington, D.C. Foxygen is a hotly tipped band that’s blowing up on Pitchfork and all the other usual suspects. I liked their show at the Rock N Roll Hotel but thought their sound was a bit derivitive. Shooting at the Hotel presented the normal challenges – an extremely dark room and not enough light to really freeze action. That’s never a good thing with a band that moves around as much as Foxygen.
