To be honest I don’t remember much about the music during Major Lazer’s late afternoon set. I was so busy trying to keep up with the dancers onstage I didn’t have time to do much else. They were running around the stage, whipping the crowd into a frenzy while Diplo manned the decks on the back of the stage.
Due to all the movement on stage, the photo pit got a little ridiculous, with people raising their cameras into the air and shooting blindly. People, stop doing this. You’re not getting anything good out of these shots and all you end up doing is ruining the shots of everyone standing behind you. I can’t tell you how many shots I had to delete because I had cameras blocking out half of my subject.
