This show was all over the place. First the lighting, which was more EDM show than hip-hop. Then was the restrictions. First I was told that we were allowed to shoot the entire show. Sweet! Then, just before T.I takes the stage, everyone is told that we get one song and one song only. Argh. But it ended up they let us shoot the first three, which was great because the lighting was brutal and there were like 5 moments when the lights on T.I. and the background were within three stops of each other.

As for the show, T.I. was fine, but didn’t blow me away. He had tons of energy, but at times it was hard to pick him out from the multitudes of people standing around the periphery of the stage.
