I have a hard time sleeping in on the weekends anyways, so I decided I would venture into the city on Saturday and take some photos of the 2014 Rock ‘n’ Roll USA Marathon & CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Rock ‘n’ Roll USA 1/2 Marathon race weekend (that’s a mouthful). I had some gear I wanted to test out and this seemed like a great opportunity. I took the metro to Columbia heights and caught up with everyone around mile 8 and then walked the course until mile 9 or so.
