It’s always a pleasure to shoot Elvis Costello. I shot him a few years ago at Wolf Trap and his management approached me about using a few of my photos as part of the CD booklet and promotion for his live album The Spectacular Spinning Songbook, which of course was a huge thrill. This show was much different, however, just Mr. Costello onstage by himself. He would play for over two hours, combing through all of his albums, playing hits and deep cuts deep into the night.
SHOOTING NOTES: We were only given two songs for this show, and due to Lisner being a seated venue, we were forced to shoot from the aisles about midway back on the floor. So basically all long shots from my 70-200/2.8.
