WASHINGTON, DC - April 29th 2013 - Seven time Grammy Award-winning artist Rihanna performs at the Verizon center in Washington, D.C. as part of her Diamonds World Tour. Rihanna has released seven albums since 2005, selling 30 million albums and 120 million singles worldwide. Rihanna is one of the biggest pop stars in the world but since I don’t listen to the radio, I can’t name more than three of her songs (I know “We Found Love,” “Birthday Cake” and that Eminem song). Her show was pretty by the books and there wasn’t much to shoot other than her gyrating around on the stage. We were stationed at the soundboard or this shoot. I took these photos with a rented Nikon 400/2.8.
