Kamasi Washington Performs at the Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C.

 

One of the hottest names in music today is Kamasi Washington. His work with Thundercat and Kendrick Lamar have earned him plaudits from critics all over the world. And after seeing his live show, it’s easy to see why. I am by no means a jazz head but I couldn’t help but be impressed with his performance at the Howard Theatre. It was mesmerizing.
