I didn’t know a whole lot about Ellie Goulding before covering this show but I came away impressed. She has a great voice and a commanding stage presence. I also had no idea how popular she was, but the kids LOVE HER. It’s easy to see why, her music straddles the line between Robyn and Katy Perry so it appeals to fans of both.

Lights for this show were only OK, which was a surprise since they are generally pretty good at the Fillmore. The first song was mostly Ellie in a spotlight. The second song was lit well and they third was done completely in a deep red wash.
