Let’s be honest, it’s hard to take a bad photo of Annie Clark. She’s beautiful and has legs for days. Yes, the under lighting in her current stage set up doesn’t exactly help things, but she’s an easy target. That doesn’t make shooting her live show any less fun.
She packed a very sold out 9:30 Club earlier this week and put on a very impressive set (at least from the 5-6 songs I stuck around for). The lighting treatment was harsh at times, and I was frustrated that every time she stepped back from the mic to rock out the lights went down. That said, there was a lot to like about this gig and I look forward to shooting her again very soon.

November 3, 2011 at 5:58 pmI think this is the first time I’ve seen her play without the two-mic setup. this is not a complaint. shooting around one mic is hard enough.
